On the contraire, Adderall calms me and allows me to focus. Although I was upset yesterday when I first took and it made me incredibly depressed for like an hour, I'm guessing because it caused me to dwell more on issues. But it's calmed my panic and anxiety which was preventing me from studying so ...score!

It seems to have a pretty bizarre beginning effect, apparently in ADD/ADHD people it helps them sleep while it does the opposite in normal people. Well during the first two hours its in my system I get really tired and want to take a nap. After about two hours, the fatigue wears off and then I am able to stay awake and focused for about 7 hours. I wonder if there's some sort of induced ADD that can develop over the years, as I've noticed my ability to concentrate has definitely gone downhill.
