Erm....like the same projects and ghettos that have been put there to basically keep black people away from everyone else? Well, if you've not gotten confused about the difference between slavery and working for very little then it's interesting that a large family like that would a) buy any slaves at all since unless your great-grandmother was 150 years old, they would have been doing so illegally and b) would have 'bought' white slaves. There aren't many reports of white slavery int he US post-civil war so either your family was a great exception or there may be some confusion.
What are these 'special racial priviledges' you're talking about?
