I find this interesting, couldn't you say the same for slavery here? That it was just this whacked out ideology shared by white people that black folks were sub-humans and therefore best put as slaves. And of course it took us years to realize- hey we're all just human beings.
But for Germany- SO many germans went along with it. I guess I don't understand the difference, considering the sheer torture and vast amount of killing they endured, frankly I'm a little surprised they aren't hateful towards the Germans. I think there's a huge economic difference though to consider...minorities in America were dirt poor, and Jews have always been associated with having money.
