Chandra i highly suggest you relearn American history. The effects of slavery are still present in today's society. For you to not acknowledge that is just extremely ignorant.

Being Black in America means that your are always aware of your race and that it is always a political topic.

If in your line of work you are expected to represent your job outside your work environment then you should take better care of your image. I don't pity the cheerleader.
