how can i tell my friends

that going out clubbing/dancing isn't as fun for me as it is for them? my 2 best friends are thin & really pretty, i'm not huge but definitely not thin! i usually have a fun time going out w/them.. of course guys ignore me & only approach them, i'm ok with that but what is really difficult for me is when guys point & laugh at me, make oinking noises at me, etc. one guy took me by the shoulders & turned me around so he "wouldn't have to look at the fatty" while he tried to pick up my friends.
my friends are really sweet and always ignore/mock these guys.. i try not to let it get to me but it hurts sometimes. any advice?

    WOW! those guys are horrible.
I'm a fatty, and i'm not attractive, and i've never been aware of anything like that happening when i used to go clubbing. I'm sure it happened, but they were never that obvious. I used to always get approached as well, but my theory was that it was just overflow from those that wanted to talk to my friends.

Maybe you should find a new place to hang out. Surely guys aren't like that everywhere. Maybe suggest doing other things. If they like dancing, why not sign up for belly dancing classes, or folk dancing classes. My friends and I did that sometimes and we'd have such a laugh. Suggest things that will require socialising in a different environment so you don't need to put up with such things.

This is a problem with me too. Nothing can be done besides introducing new things into your activities.
