do you think if someone wasn't sure if they wanted to be with you now, or not ready for the commitment or something but you guys did have something goin on between you that was just never acted on....do you think in the future they could want to be with you? and if so would they mean it? like they realised they really do want you? or is it just i'm running out of time, i haven't met anyone else lets see if we can work? has anyone ever been in that situation??

i think it depends on what the "something going on" is... were you banging? just friends?
i had a fb who later told me he had feelings for me and thought we were going to date... and i was just like, um, no, i just needed to get my jollies off? i thought it was very clear that it was purely physical- but i can also see how those situations get screwy with the other person's head...
but if it's like... you're good friends and there's that sexual tension and you both know it's there but nobody's ever acted on it... well, that sums up my original relationship with my fiancee, so i would say that yes, it could develop into something.
like i said, it depends on what the "something" is...
