    Thanks everbody. Neither of us got online all weekend, because of the travel to New York for my parents' anniversary party.

    I made Amy promise not to get me anything, but my parents got me a Circuit City gift card, and my brother got me a hot Calvin Klein dress shirt.

    All in all, it was a great birthday. Maybe I'll let Amy throw me a party of some kind next year.

    Ha ha... yeah... his mom was all "We're gonna throw him a surprise birthday party" and I said... "as long as he knows that I had NOTHING to do with it, then I'm cool with that idea." Spike had already told me that there were to be no gifts and no parties. I did sneak in a secret gift and the girls picked out a card that played "Ring of Fire". It was a lot of fun all around, but super low key. Birthdays are really big in my family, so... it was kinda hard not to do anything for him, but the trip helped and... it's more important that he got what he really wanted... time with his family and a laid back 30th.

    ... and I really AM bummed that sprank can't attend. I was SO looking forward to it.
