    I go to the gym most weekdays for about 40 minutes and usually lift... I'm not really ripped, but I'm def starting to build my upper body. You know how right after working out you look so much better, but then a couple hours later you lose that? Are there any suggestions you could give me to preserve that look for the next few hours at least? For example, should I drink lots of water or no? Hot shower, or cold? Any other info would be great - thanks.

    well you continue to look good for awhile because of all the extra blood that is pumping through your muscles because of the exercise. after awhile your muscles calm down, and dont need all the extra O2 anymore, so there is less blood being pumped through you, and you look normal. i dont think there is really much you can do about it. except every hour drop and do 50 pushups hehe.

    i have been working out for over a year now and yes right after the gym you are ripped and you want everyone to see..

    now sometimes when i know im going somewhere or to the beach or on a date i take NOS its a cell volumizer and the product is called " NITRIX " its really helps you a lot when working out and makes you work harder and stronger but the beauty of this product is that it keeps that pump that you have right after you work out with you for 24 hours !!!...

    wrong, diet is a huge, huge part of it. more important than the weights themselves, i.m.o. at least in the long run.

    Word. Nutrition, makes up good 80-90% of success when it comes to changing your bodyfat levels (getting ripped, in this case). The only reason your diet doesn&#39;t seem to affect you that much, Tim, is because of your bodytype. While you can eat junk and still not go above 8-10%bf you&#39;ll have troubles packing on serious mass unless you change your eating habits.

    right, let me rephrase that, too much focus on the wrong aspects of diet

    Tons of meat and calories and not enough work to work them off porperly. That and way to much emphesis on selling supplements.

    To be a well rounded athlete stretching and cardio are at least as important as any stength training. Although, it is pretty funny to read all the stories about body builders getting angry at each other and tearing pecs and triceps trying to throw punches.
