Im too lazy to rewrite stuff, but this is what I posted on my law school message board tonight
Well my buddy gave me a couple adderall pills, and being the retard I am, I took one tonight. Ive always been curious to know if they work or not.
I sat down at 3 and worked through 46 and 47 straight through til 9. The pill was way too much for me... i was a little out of it for the first hour or so... but then settled in.
To those of you who are curious like I am, Ill try and describe how it worked.
When I first took it my vision got a little weirded out and I was having trouble reading. This lasted 30 minutes or so. After this I started the test and found myself a little flustered and having to reread things... or Id read something and have no idea what I just read. After about section 2 of the first test, or 90 minutes or so, I settled in and after that things were fine.
I wouldnt say that it made me smarter or better at the LSAT. I did seem to notice things such as patterns in games, or key inferences in LR and such that made answering the questions a little quicker. But this was counteracted in that when I got caught up on a problem I would get stressed and flustered and lost time.
Anyway... the damage on the tests:
46 - -7 for a 172, but 3 or 4 were just stupid reading mistakes that if I was a little more relaxed and not doped up I think I would have gotten
47 - -4 for a ... i dont know because I dont have the scale. But I got section A perfect-o, which made me feel good.
Overall adderall rating:
9/10 in keeping one motivated/not distracted... I dont think there would be many days where I could take 2 preptests back to back like that and not be burned out at the end. I probably would have taken a third but I didnt have any more with me at the time.
5/10 in awareness/intuition/etc ... It was probably just placebo effect, but when I settled in after my body's initial "Oh my god what did you just ingest?" I was cruising and felt pretty confident in what I was doing.
2/10 in side effects... I got a stomach pain about 30 minutes in. My vision was shaky for about 30 minutes. Right now I have a headache, my face is flushed, and I cant go to sleep even if I wanted to.
Final verdict: Probably will not try again unless theres a final I really need to cram for in my future.

Concerta will open your eyes man. Its milder and actually helps your focus (which adderal doesnt if you dont really have ADD).

Adderall didnt do jack for me, except make me sleepy.
How does that work. Kids without ADD can use that shit to study. And then people who may ligitimently need it, it makes us tired, which makes us a lil less engergized so it appears to make us look like were focusing more, but in reality were just too tired to get insanly amped up so we sit in our sit without fidgiting as much. Hah.
Fucking lame. All those bullshit meds that are suppose to help ADD/ADHD just make me tired, not make me study harder. I fucking wish <_<
Alright, I finally got to sleep at like 5 AM, its 11 now... i feel pretty alright... I could use another hour or two, I might take a little nap later.
Other than that though... no hangover/lingering effects.

Retro...isn't it because ADD drugs have the opposite effect on people without ADD/ADHD? That's my understanding, anyway.
Aren't there a lot of "soccer mom" types that get hooked on that shit because they can go and go and go without ever feeling tired? Meanwhile, their ADD/ADHD child is sitting in the chair, barely conscious from taking the drug?
I've heard that it's like that for babies when they get caffiene. Caffiene makes us all wired, but it tends to calm a baby down and make them sleepy. I don't know how true that is, but I heard it somewhere....

Seriously, as if I 'hate America'. I don't like the government at all, but I don't really think that classes as hating America.
