oh i remember this thread.

my fiancee has awesome tats. all old school sailor kinda tats. we're talking about getting matching owls. sweet. i just have to take the time to design them. something like this, but in flight!

Ears, 2 and 3, nose stud, navel, recently took out my eyebrow ring coz it never healed despite my best efforts and I kept smashing it on things, haha.

One tattoo, a rose on my shoulder blade.

Reasons: I have had the nose piercing for years, with a small crystal or ball I just think It looks really flattering, elegant, same with eyebrow. Has to be the right jewelry though. I've had my navel ring for years too, mine is the only one I know that hasn't grown out, I now look at a tummy without a navel ring and it looks peculiar haha!

I had my tattoo in mind for four years and because I didnt change my mind in that time I got it. It wasnt the design I wanted the tattooist informed me the design I wanted would be outdated in less than five years and I would grow to hate it, and I'm so glad he gave me that advice. I want to get a music oriented one but not that standard treble clef or notes...I wont get it till I find the perfect one.

i've had my ears pierced all up the lobes, at the top of both, my tragus, my nose, my labret, my belly button, my left nipple, the webbing between my thumb and index finger on my left hand. no tatts.

I have gauges in both my ear lobes. Ive had my nose and lip pierced before.
I have three tattoos. Some writing across my upper chest/ collar bone.
An image on my upper right arm/shoulder, and an image on my upper left arm/shoulder.
I want more ink....badly.

I only have three piercings- two in the left earlobe, one in the right. I intended to have two in the right, as well, but it didn't heal so I had to take it out. I plan on getting that one re-done, and then get another one in each ear so I'll have three in each. Then I think I'll be done with the piercings.

I've been throwing around the idea of a tattoo for a while. I have something small in mind, for my upper left arm, but I'm basically waiting until I have the disposable income.

Make sure it's the right size, placement, and even image that you want before you get it done. I don't know how many people I've seen with a small crappy tattoo they have had to go back and get changed.

I had an idea in mind for mine, but after we plotted it out we wound up making major changes, all of which really made it better.

And yes, I also want another, but I'm not sure what or where.

Two piercings. One in each ear. No tattoos.

Lothar, mine's so simple that it would be ridiculously difficult to mess up. I mean, to the point where the artist would have to be blindfolded and dizzy or something. And it'll be in a very specific location, I already know exactly where.
