A couple days ago, I learned (from "Capitalism: A Love Story") that companies will sometimes take out life insurance policies on their employees in which the company is the beneficiary. And apparently, they can do so without the knowledge of the employee or the employee's family. I find it quite terrible, to be honest.
Also, over the last week, I've learned more about student loans than I ever thought I'd learn. Quite interesting stuff.
