Today I learned that defibrillation is actually designed to stop the heart muscles so the heart can start on its own, not simply just to shock it to force it to start beating.
People are always learning new things everyday.
So did you learn anything interesting today?
"Shit happens. Character is how you react to it."

Ha. Yesterday, I learned that if you are fat as I am, and sleep on one side or the other of an air mattress, it will blast out from under you and leave your ass bouncing on the floor.

savmotronPeople do what they do. I mitigate their hazard to me and move on.
stuff is just stuff. your emotional health is much more important. holding raging anger in is more harmful than your faggot-assed tv that probably deserves to get its ass beat anyway.
I learnt that having a fever and losing power is a bad combination. Hurry up power fixer upperers
True beauty is an exchange, not an observation. - Lucid Rog
I learned that Occitan is a pluricentric, pro-drop language with an extra subjunctive conjugation that's imperfect.
I learned that Ronsard put a lot of obscure and ambiguous mythologie in his poems and that Hugo used beaucoup d'hemistiche and enjambement.
I learned that I don't give a shit about poetic technique and how many syllables are in a verse and that sometimes being a well-rounded individual does nothing more than put you in debt with stupid 400 level classes that are just intellectual busy work.
"The deepest definition of youth is life as yet untouched by tragedy."
-Alfred North Whitehead
"Every man takes the limits of his own field of vision for the limits of the world."
-Arthur Schopenhauer
I learned that I can, in fact, exhibit some self control.

I learnt that every living this has a frequency, that essential oils have the highest frequency of any thing known to man, and are much, much more effective against disease than people think.
Sweet as the Punch.Syco- "The Empress is the latter leg of this triad, representing the physical body and the material world. From her comes all the pleasure of the senses and the abundance of life in all its forms. She is also the mother archetype, and through her we get a first glimpse of the power of love in the Tarot." I think this is all representative of awesomly large tits, no?
Since I'm learning a language I'm learning loads every day. Yesterday I learnt all about the history of negative numbers.
The broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying. These people know only too well how to use falsehood for the basest purposes... Adolf Hitler
I learned how to use a tachymeter.
"Shit happens. Character is how you react to it."
I learned that I am not learning enough anymore.
And that bothers me. I think I will have to do something about that.
Your mind can only hold one thought at a time. Make it a positive and constructive one.

totally had to look that up- thought it was dirty.
became confused at google results.
remembered mousing over ester's car wreck thread and verifying it wasn't his new ride.
understood that fascia is probably not referring to vaginal walls.
learnding. i does it.
'Cause I'm that fool that broke the key- I'm unlockable so don't check me- I got weight on my shoulders and things on my mind- The sky is falling and I'm falling behind... No shame in my game just par for the path- I try to hone my craft because at hand's the task- But I find I'm not playing with a full deck- I'm up to my neck like Toulouse Lautrec
Yesterday, I learned:
-That models really, really, really aren't my type [okay, this was confirmation rather than something new]
-How it feels to have someone buy a drink for me
-What it's like to be hit on by a cougar [errrrrr]
-That telling a girl outright that she's adorable is really not that awkward, yaay!
That only happened to me once when I was in a rock/metal club. I considered it for about 30 seconds due to the frankly amazing body the woman had but I had no money for a taxi home the next day and wasn't a huge fan of her chin so I left it and pointed her in the direction of my mate. He went back to her house, got her naked and whilst they were going doggy style he saw she had a tattoo on her arse saying 'PROPERTY OF WAYNE' and in the morning he was greeted by her two kids. Lucky escape!
