whatever. i do still want to have a career in the medical field which i will pursue until after i am married & ready for kids.

i just believe that as a wife & parent, i should be there for my husband & children's sake. whatever they need, i should provide them with. & if my husband didn't make enough money, then too bad, ill keep working because if he cant support us on his own salary, i would have to have salary as well.

ideally, it's what i want. well see if thats what i get when the time comes.

Its pretty difficult to raise a family on one income though. Like Dustin makes shit for being a teacher, so he has a tutoring job on the side as well for extra money in case he wants to get friverlous and buy a slurpee. But teachers get fucked anyways. I guess if you married a lawyer or some shit his income would do it, maybe, but then the thing is about Lawyers, doctors is that their fucking student loans are up the ass. So make sure you marry a seasoned lawyer or Doctor who isnt just starting out. Of course

But i dont get why girls exspect guys to pay and pull the "I want a gentlemen". Why does gentlemen have to = guy paying for you, and you exspecting it? Money is money, a total fuckwad could pay for me and that wouldnt make him a gentlemen. In HS i went on a date and the guy paid for me, i offered to pay for myself but he insisted so i was like 'whatever'. Then after he was all trying to make out with me. Well the date was shitty, so i wasnt all that into him. And he was all "Come on cant i get a little something in return?"... as in return for him paying for me. Like i was a hooker. It was lame. Bottom line is a guy paying for me would have nothing to do with how gentlemanly he is.

Oh yeah and if your all about being old fashion why are you fucking him after a date or so. Why not wait till marriage. Sheesh.

I also HATE it when a guy pays. I prefer paying myself.

Even now when i hang out with my ex, he still insists on paying. I tell him I’d rather pay and he's tells me no, but then i sneak money in his pocket and he will just shove it back at me and say 'please don't insult me'

argh, its not an insult. Why do guys think it’s an insult? Its not like i think you are poor (not a bad thing tho. Don’t want a heated argument on this) or something. I just prefer paying it for myself or i feel like shit.

okay, i like to have sex. i have obviously not waited for marriage before , so its not like i can now nor do i want to. & yes, that is old-fashioned to wait til marriage to have sex.. omg, im not completely old-fashioned. that doesnt mean i like some things about being old-fashioned and want to carry through with them. like, im not moving in with a bf/fiance, anything like that until i am married. i don&#39;t think that moving in with someone before i am married to them is something i would like to do. people need space. i -need- space. im sure they -need- space. so if we arent married, id like to give them their space. and when i did move in with them because we are finally married, id still give them their space as i would expect someone to give me space as well.

basically i said id keep my job after i had kids if it were necessary to our income. but, ideally, id love to be a stay at home wife. if i dont get my way then so be it. if i do, then great.
