Is there a differnce with "A good friend" or a "best friend"? I think there is. But I would like your thoughts please.

To me a ‘good friend’ is someone I hang out with often, wouldn’t hurt them on purpose, same with them, but a ‘best friend’ is like a good friend, but I share so much more with them. That person is someone I will tell all my secretes and feelings to.

My best friend is in Florida.
I was willing to leave all my good friends here and move to Florida with my best friend.
There is a huge difference... only if you have a best friend.
Best friends are hard to come by, and I havent met another one in 5 years.

There is a big difference between a good friend and a best friend. I have tons of good friends, I know they will be there for me, and I will be there for them. But with my best friend, we tell each other everything, and if one of us needs anything, we will drop everything. I don't talk to my good friends every day, I talk to my best friend every day.

I've been friends with my best friend since I was two. She's my best friend because we ran in different circles, kinda lost any common ground. I moved away. I came back. Moved away again. Came back again. And she and I have kept in contact the whole time. 20 years. We don't see eachother near as often as I see my other friends. Maybe once every couple of weeks, sometimes once a week. But we talk fairly often. And she's the one friend I'd turn to if I ever needed something, and she could do the same. She was there for my moms funeral. She was sitting with me when I was freaking out that something was wrong with my dad, and sat there after the cops showed up to tell me he was dead. She came to his funeral too.

I have a few good friends. But Im not near as open with them, or honest with them. And they aren't with me either. We hang out like 4 times a week. We do tons of stuff together, but the bond just isn't the same with them as it is with my best friend. I can't tell them everything, and the conversation just isn't the same with them.
I love all the things that we should fear, and Im not afraid of being here....

I have lots of 'Good friends', people I'd hang around with, get into fights for, help out without thinking, etc.

I only have like 2 people I consider 'Best friends', they know more about me than my parents, they're the people I can hang around with for hours and hours, and hours and hours on end, without getting bored at all, people who just delight me, people who I'd go to any end for and people I totally adore, and them for me, they're always there, no matter what, and so am I.

    Good friends aren't half that.

Get the fuck off my board you bitch.
