yuh im new.
so one night i was with one of my crazy friends at the plaza in our town (there is a starbucks and everyone just kind of sits around and drinks coffee and plays in this fountain blah blah) and i we sat down next to this table with these guys she is apparently friends with. one of the guys (i notice) is extremely good looking. we kind of looked at each other and smiled ( or at least I looked at him and smiled, i honestly dont know). SO then later that night i of course ask her 20 questions abotu him and she just tells me what his myspace is (gay). So i add him to my friends and he doesnt talk but i finally talk to him and my friend some how sets up for us to go tothis other coffee house the next friday. i was a excited- but i still didnt know him.
SO we show up and he comes but with his other friend who i know and this girl whos a total bitch. hes shy im shy and we didnt talk much except for occaisonal stupid questions. aaand when i finally started talkign to him the bitch comes and sits in between us, and then sits on his lap. im like. ok. im leaving.
My friend asures me that " I think he likes you" he doesnt knwo me and i am grateful of her complents. he does smile allll the tiem but to everyone. i didnt really think of anything of it. however when i got home ileft him a comment sayign id had a good time meeting him. he replied back sayign he was sorry he was not so talkative and that he was tired. or something. and that we should hang out again soon it owudl be fun. i left him my number (im not sure that was wise) SO then i saw him again that friday (not intentionally) and he had kind of the same look on his face. like. i dono. not happy. or something. so somehow i never said lets hang otu or anything. i mean. he has my number. and he didnt givem e his. so then i just messaged him a lot. i dono i guess annoying him trying to give hints. So then my friend apparently saw him after that without me and she just asked him ad he said "she's cool but mayeb too young" I'm 16 hes 19. I continued to see him unexpectidly over a while. he was always really nice. i started to really like him. My friend got annoyed with my whining and finally called him and just asked him if he liekd me? i didnt even know. And she tols me he just flat out said no. like a long pause and and just no, no reason or anything. i was kind of sad i guess and then a couple days later igot an anonymous text message saying happy thanksgiving. I asked who it was and it was him saying he thought i had his number. i finally just kind of confronted him about my friend calling him and sayign i hoped i didnt freak him out. he just said, its ok. and so i was like really i dont want to freak you out and hes liek no its cool. ??? so then i said i hoped we coudl still be friends and he said of course. i have no idea. but now hes stuck on my mind like glue. shouldnt i be forgetting abotu him since i know he doesnt like me? annoying.

Advice: Guys **HATE** all forms of girly "oh-my-god-i-cant-believe-she-did-that" drama.
And youre way too young. Find someone closer to your age, your parents will thank you, the old guy will thank you (keeps him out of jail) and you will end up much happier.
I don't think this bloke wants too be going out with a girl your age anyway he's probably looking for somewhere around the 18 years of age mark and somebody that is actually legal. And besides yeah you do sound like the kind of bird that would cause a headache try and work on that one sweetheart.

wow. i've never felt so stupid in like the same week. i didnt think 16 and 19 is a big deal. thanks for all of your positive comments. and yes i am in highscool and yes this is "dramatic" to me. no one likes being rejected.

Three years is not a big deal.........once you gradutate from highschool.
It is a great deal if one is in high school and the other is out.
Unless the younger person of the relationship is a boy.
That is very socially acceptable, expecially if the older woman is decent looking.

Three years means nothing in real life....unless one is an adult and the other a minor.
You fall into that catagory.
She's at the age of consent for most states, so legally he's not in trouble.

Seriousely, for each person there exists 1000 soulmates - we just never get to meet everybody we're compatable with. It's best to be able to move on and not be stuck in a single relationship unless it's well worth it - and even by marriage most people aren't as ready as they think. U need to do what's best for u.
