    I have a crush on my best friend's ex?

    So, I need advice, My best friend and her ex broke up on mutual terms a bit a go, I've had a crush on this particular guy for a while now. I know there is some unwritten code about not going after your close friend's exs, but I really like him, so I have no idea what to do? What should I do in this situation?

    So, i think you owe your friend the truth, maybe dont say how much you like him, just tell her you think he's cute. Its asking her permission, but not in a formal way, and she'll repsect you for it. But, does he like you back? If you know that he wont go out with you and maybe that isnt worth risking your friendship over. Its good they broke up on mutual terms though, it means that they agreed that it wasnt good for either of them, which makes your chances of getting both the guy and keeping your friend higher.
