Only an idiot wouldn't know good ideas for dates.
Ok, I decided that the reason I don't have much success in lasting relationships is because I don't get to know the women I am dating properly during the dating stage. This is because I don't ever go on DATES with girls. Dating girls to me means fucking them, inviting them to frat parties, and going to lunch/movie once in a while. I realize that if I needed to think up a good date, I wouldn't be able to to save my life.
My problem is, I don't have a lot of money, so things like tickets to sports games, etc is out of the question. Keeping that in mind, what can I do for date ideas? I would really like to be able to go on like 10 - 12 dates with a girl that are different things, within my price range. I would be willing to spend a little more on perhaps one MAYBE two of these dates. The other ones would have to be between 0 and 20 dollars. I realize this is kind of pathetic, but I really don't have the funds to do things that cost more.
Any cool ideas of fun things to do? (I'm not looking for the usual answer of dinner and a movie, or like a "walk on the beach" I mean real, creative ideas.) Thanks for the help.

Bowling is fun and cheap. Most bowling alleys have nightly specials, like $1 per game or free shoes.
Mini golf is also cheap and fun. Around here, $10 gets you and your date a round.
Arcades are great, too, just set a spending limit. $10 (each) is more than enough to spend on video and crane games.
Go to an old fashioned ice cream shop, like Swensens. Share a milkshake or one of those massive ice cream sundaes.
Plan a picnic in the park. Just buy a bottle of wine and some fruit, don't forget a blanket to sit on, and maybe buy some flowers for your date. That'll score you lots of "romantic" points and it'll cost you $20 at most.
Visit the planetarium. It sounds geeky, but you can make out under the stars, so to speak. I think the one here costs $4 per person, so it's cheap. Or you could actually drive out to the country and star gaze for free.
Go to one of those pottery making shops. You can get creative and paint a mug or a plate for $5 or $10. Girls love a guy with an artistic side, haha.
Find out what her favorite movies are, then rent two or three of them. Stock up on candy and popcorn and have a marathon favorite movie night.
That's all I can think of at the mo... good luck, tov![]()
good ideas, thanks. A little weirded out by the arcade one tho...Who takes their date to a geeky arcade??? Maybe I am just out of the loop... lol
Haha I was just recalling one of my favorite dates. The guy took me to Mr Gattis which is like a Chuck E Cheese, only about 10 times better. Very casual, of course, so it was like no pressure at all. After pizza, we just hit the ski ball machines and the race car machines and a few of the video games. We laughed and laughed and had a g-reat time. Maybe some girls wouldn't be all that impressed by a cheap pizza dinner and a ski ball machine, but I'm easy to please.Originally posted by tovlakas@Jun 28 2004, 10:32 AM

Also, the radio stations here are always giving away tickets to sporting events. So you might listen and try to win tickets instead of paying out the wazoo for them. Same thing goes for free dinners.
randomness seems to work best
I say ice cream is always the answer.
It really depends on the girl as to how spontaneous you can be. It sounds lame, but going somewhere like walmart and finding really funny stuff like cowboy hats and ugly sunglasses and lounging in the furniture section while talking or joking around is fun for me, but it may be too weird for some.
The good will is also fun, but more of a ME thing. You can find really funky and hilarious outfits (be sure to take a camera!)
Disposable cameras can spice up anything. You can get a decent one for three bucks or so, and oh the memories you can preserve.
Catch fireflies at a park and have them in a glass jar... with a blanket nearby for easy makeout time.
Take her out dancing. Some dance clubs have "special" nights with cheap admission. That's always fun.
Take a short roadtrip- be sure to stock up on awesome music and snacks etc...
If you want to get on her good side- make friends with her family. It's nice to have their family comment on how gentlemanly or sweet you are.
Sorry if theses are too juvenile, but they seem fun and original to me![]()
Buried deep as you can dig inside yourself,
and hidden from the public eye.
Such a stellar monument to loneliness.
Laced with brilliant smiles and shining eyes
and perfect makeup but you're barely scraping by...
You want something creative....but also cheap....men u know it's kinda hard!!
What about a stand up comedian show?? Isn't that expensive right?
Or go on nightsailing!! If u know someone who has a boat offcourse.
The beach is one of my favourite places yes.......but i usually like going to places where ur not allowed to be or do things that will surely get the attention from the cops (without getting caught offcourse)...i don't know it usually creates some added excitement to the moment together i guessAnd u'll have fun!!!

Ever wonder about those people who spend $2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward. ~ George Carlin
if only life was that easy...
Greener and Retro pretty much shut this thread down.
Arthur and I did this. We got this biggest sundae on the menu, which is 14 scoops. i nearly died from an ice cream overdose. it was fun though. I suggest probably not getting something that big thoughOriginally posted by SexiSexist@Jun 28 2004, 04:28 PM

and i love the picnic idea. I have a picnic basket with cute little cups and plates and everything to match, and no one to go picnicking with.
