For Halloween, I want to be Chrstine Daae from "Phantom of the Opera"-the play, not the movie. And I wanted to wear the dressing gown that she wears in the song"Phantom Of The Opera" But I have absolutely no idea on how to make the dressing gown, or even where to start. I wanted to make it look like this:
Any ideas or imput? It seems fairly simple, but I could be way wrong.

You could get a fairly simple, normal kimono/light white dressing gown, and then attach lace to the edges, and cut off the sleeves to make them shorter, and add lace/detail to that.
as for the detail on the actual gown, im not sure, but you could try to get one with a detail like that already on it ?

you could probably have a look on ebay and see if you can find something similar. Like this maybe?
Otherwise, I'd probably look at patterns and find something that you can adjust.

I was actually in a little store yesterday and they had all these dressing gowns that looked very similar to that. And i thought of you.
I think you should check out second hand clothing stores. Endo's usually have things like that in stock
