If you were a lawyer, how would you dress?
I have some cute stuff and like zero money right now since I just bought a house and am having a wedding in six weeks.
Things to keep in mind, if you are giving me suggestions. I am 5'1", 95 pounds, blond, green eyes, good legs and ass but not even close to big boobs. And a mischevious personality.
I should be on match.com wtih these descriptions, not asking how to dress for work.

2:05 AM [Lothar] kinda like beef stew but they use guinness
2:05 AM [Greaser] and it gets your dick hard?
2:05 AM [Lothar] yeah, it's that good
That's actually what I did when I started. I have a bunch of suits now that I never wear. It's more of a business casual atmosphere, unless there is a meeting with a client or going to court.
My usual summer outfit looks like this:

DAMMIT, why don't pictures work on here.
Anyway, I usually wear high heels or high heel mary janes or wedges. Then I wear a skirt to the knee, I have all colors (grey, black, blue, red, khaki, etc). Then I wear a white or black blouse. I have a pretty cute summer wardrobe, actually.
Winter is more of a problem. I have a lot of black and grey pants. Then I wear black tops, cardigan sets (which make me feel like I am 50), and tank tops/nice t-shirts with a cardigan type sweater over top (usually my favorite).
Basically, I look like I come straight from Ann Taylor or Theory. These are the two designers most prevalent in my wardrobe.
Madcatter, I work at a fairly big firm but not huge. i haven't gotten a new job or anything, I was just wondering how other people would dress in this situation.
I'd probably wear something like this:
$19.50
$16.50
$9.50
$24.50
I'd also probably wear a lot of cute cardigans, like this one:
$17.50
However... this may be another good reason that I am not a lawyer.![]()

That outfit is adorable. Thanks Amelia!!
Black and grey are really my favorites for work, even though they seem boring to a lot of people. They're just so sleek.
I suggest a wrap dress as well. It looks good on any body type, won't ever go out of style and is still feminine.

roxy, i work in recruitment and i can tell you that legal = corporate, and corporate = matching. it has to be suits all the way. all legal firms that i deal with are corporate, corporate, corporate. do your hair how you want but you have to be matching.
IMPO i don't think the first dress in those pictures is corporate, peaches. i think it looks like it's from Target. the second one is nice, though. you'd probably need to wear a suit jacket with it, though.
roxy, are you from australia? i think portmans do good suits for your height etc. otherwise i love Oxford womens or CUE.
oh no wait you're from america. i don't know what dress standards are like there.
she's not that kind of a girl, booger!
Fruity, they are from Nordstroms. You can often find good deals on their sale prices more then their regular price items.
