posts like this make me so glad I'm not a girl and don't have to waste time wondering about stupid shit...
but I'm glad your outfit is "super cute" ghetto, have fun..
and btw, that's not really a dress code.
Going to a restaurant with a dress code tonight. Of course it's just a simple dress code which is easy enough to follow since the rule is "no jeans (and the like)" but surely there are unspoken rules to these sorts of places.
I'm curious as to what could qualify under the "no jeans" rule. My outfit of course is fine but I still wonder. What if a girl came in with a mini-skirt? Is that unacceptable? Is wearing a certain dress too fancy? Would they look down on khakis?
Is the fancy schmancy reserved for the "white collar and tie" dress codes?
Hmmm, so many questions. I wish I had my camera with me so I could show off my super cute outfit.

Does this restaurant have a website that you could look into to make sure your outfit is okay? I think it would depend on the mini skirt that you were wearing. If it looks like something a hooker would wear, don't. But if its a little more fancy of a mini skirt, I'm sure it's okay. I tend to wear short skirts.
I also tend to think that these places are a little tougher on men's dress code then a woman. Like sometimes these places have a jacket or tie to give the guy incase he doesn't have one.

I already stated that my outfit was perfectly fine, I was just still curious about if that actually happened, and if there are certain rules to those places.
And p.s. the restaurant was A-mazing. It was on the top of a five star hotel, it was in the shape of a circle and all windows for the outer wall. It was a revolving restaurant so you could see the entire city in the span of an hour. It was lovely. And the food was fantastic too.

It won't be in for a couple weeks. My brother has his own camera, I would never borrow his for fear of accidentally looking at incriminating pictures.
And yes greaser it's the Hyatt! Apparently a revolving restaurant is something they do a lot in most of their hotels. Our restaurant is called The Skies.
I was thinking of how awesome it would be to go to a restaurant like that during a thunderstorm. I looooove storms.
