I just wear spandex bike shorts under my regular shorts. Works well enough for me.
Is there any magic underwear that doesn't VPL much under leggings and lycra? I hate working out wearing butt floss. No underwear is a sucky option to me, as well. What do you all do - suck it up and wear a thong?

I wear thongs. They seem to work great while exercising. Why don't you like them?

I dunno. I don't like thongs unless I have to and I still have to constantly remind myself that it's not a wedgie. That's not the feeling I want when I'm all sweaty.
Don't they make lycra underwear too? You could check that out, or get some of the underwear that claims to have invisible panty-lines. I know Victoria's Secret has some.

actually i have a similar question for guys...
I usually try to wear straight up briefs when i work out but even those give me a crotch problem while im doing cardio on the bike...
boxer briefs are worse and straight boxers are the worst, plus i dont like to have my balls hanging free while i lift. What do you guys wear that is most comfortable?

You're fine on the bike, there's no problems lifting, and it's not terribly embarrassing as long as you wear a regular pair of shorts over them. Straight spandex is dumb, but if you just wear comfortable spandex underneath regular gym shorts you'll be fine.I just wear spandex bike shorts under my regular shorts. Works well enough for me.[/b]

unless i'm in my squat suit, then I'm wearing groove briefs or a speedo.
unless I'm prepping for a competition in which case I'm wearing tighty whiteys or groove briefs.

i used to wear spandex unders when i wrestled, but i would get into situations where they would bunch up and unlike underwear it was even more severe... it was like a knife digging into my crotch. I do like the feeling of spandex though, it's always tight on the legs and wicks away sweat. maybe ill try the UA isaku, but last time i bought them they got a crotch hole within 2 wearings =\
just rock vpl like a mofo.that's what I do, tho mesh bball shorts don't really show much.
BUT this is a great topic since I'm buying lycras after I lose 6lbs more. that's my incentive.
wearing a thong to work out, tho? doesn't strike me as terribly comfy, and I'd prolly be picking at my butt half the time.
'Cause I'm that fool that broke the key- I'm unlockable so don't check me- I got weight on my shoulders and things on my mind- The sky is falling and I'm falling behind... No shame in my game just par for the path- I try to hone my craft because at hand's the task- But I find I'm not playing with a full deck- I'm up to my neck like Toulouse Lautrec
Well sprank I guess I'm gonna blow some money on experimental underwear so I'll let you know my findings. So far I've been suffering in thongs or throwing a tennis skirt over my vpl.I'm hoping the underwear gods will grant my wish and allow the cotton ones from VS to be invisible as claimed.
