I've been putting together some outfit ideas but for one of the outfits I can't figure out what shoes go with it. I want them to be reasonable for winter which means no heels. So I have the outfit idea and I made two different pictures for it, tell me which one you guys think looks best and any shoe/boots ideas you come up with:

And then I liked this idea of the "sweater type dress with leg warmers" but I don't know for sure if this would look good, so thoughts plz:

My goal is winter outfits, so if you're going to tell me to lose the tights or things like that, than you're missing my point. And no, they're not perfect for snow and shitty weather, looking good is also a goal. These are just fun outfits to go out in during the winter or something.

I didn't like anything in the middle picture.

In the first picture, the sweater is ok, but i prefer the sweater/skirt in the third picture. Lose the leg warmers and the long shorts or whatever they are with the four buttons. Looks ridiculous.

I think the third sweater would look good with a pair of black knee high boots. Hot.

I think you mentioned once that you liked girls wearing short skirts and tank tops which = lame fashion sense Thanks for the comments anyway, I think i just have a different style.

EDIT: I was not being bitchy (sorry if you can't tell)

I love the red sweater in the first picture, where'd you get it?! =D

Sorry, no real advice but I, too, think the weird short-pants look.. weird. =\ And I don't like the orange-brown sweater in the third picture. My faves are the first and second pictures. I personally think leg warmers look cute, but cutest with heels.. and can't you wear heeled boots? Boots are warm.

I didn't take it as bitchy at all, it's cool. But i did give you my honest opinion, and i just think the pants/shorts are weird looking and not my style. But like you said we have different tastes, which is fine, but are you just looking for people to reaffirm your choices here? Cause the way i read it, you were looking for honest feedback.

And i'll say again that i think the third sweater with a pair of boots would look nice.

you took the time to dig that up? you should have just went with my 8th grade year book picture where I was wearing cross colors. fact is, that was very much in style and a good look back in the early 2000's(that sounds so weird). nice try. and arent you the one asking for opinions?

I am more of a fitted sweater, thigh high boot kinda girl. Then maybe a 3/4 length wool jacket with a scarf.

    I looooooove 3"-4" heeled boots.[/b]
So then you agree with me, the guy with lame fashion sense, correct?

I think those pants are quite nice, I wouldn't wear them myself, but that's only because I wouldn't look good in them.

And those leg warmers are really cute, but I'm not a fan of sweater type dresses, in my opinion it doesn't look well on most of girls.
One girl from my high school used to wear leg warmers all the time, and she put them on her jeans, it looked really nice, but she wore heels all the time, so I agree with what someone said before.....you should wear leg warmers with heels.

unless youre practicing for a dance recital or trying out for a part in the remake of dirty dancing, you should never wear leg warmers.

Agreed. Just say no to leg warmers. :P

Although I like the sweater/skirt combo next to the leg warmers.

Leg warmers should stay in the 80's where they belong and never re-surface.

It's not the style I go for in a girl, but you're probably not going for a guy like me, so maybe that means it's perfect!

I don't understand the knee-length fitted shorts thing. It makes me think of 35-year olds who are trying to prove they can still be in fashion. Every once in a while a new look will come along and I'll be like "that is so tremendously unsexy, why is it in right now?" Knee-length fitted shorts and Ugg boots are the two incomprehensible fashion trends of the last 10 years.

Anyway, I hate to say it, but frumpy is the word that comes to mind. It evokes images of Molly Ringwald, don't ask me why.

I do like the red sweater with the big black/silver buttons, though.

It's not so bad. I think that shorts like that are not flattering unless your legs are perfect. But if you pull them off, I'm thinking ankle boots. It might be weird but with those dark leggings it could work. Would have to try it all on together and see.

I think these would look cute with the sweater-dress, too.
