    I really wanted to donate my hair. It seemed such a waste just cutting it off and throwing it away. But there is no easy way to donate it in Australia that i could find. Jet, if you know of one, please tell me, and I'll grow my hair again so i can donate it.

    I also vote cutting it off. Just go for it.

    I wonder if there would be any issue with sending hair internationally.
    I contacted the cancer council here and it was something they weren't interested in. They said I could find my own wig maker, and then make a donation that way.

    so, i cut it all off! i just decided it was the right thing to do. and it is. it's a short curly bob, longer at the front. i'll post a picture. it's awesome! all the oldies at my work don't get it. they're like "but why isn't it the same length?" and "well, as long as you're happy with it, that's the most important thing". rad.
