Thread: Spring Break Traveling

I guess this is my week for starting threads?

So I have a 2.5 week spring break! I'm staying 4 days in Venice, 7 in Barcelona, 3 in Dublin and a day trip to Brussels [Paris is on a long weekend over the regular school year, and I might do Amsterdam on a long weekend, too]. I'm using Eurostar for Brussels, but Ryanair for everything else.

Now, I've already bought the tickets. I've never really traveled before, and certainly haven't come up with my own itinerary, so I thought it would be smart to return back to London between each of my trips. Spend a day between each city just relaxing, taking a breather, doing laundry, having a nice comfortable bed and a hot shower, updating my blog so the backlog doesn't get too bad, etc. This does equal two extra flights than there would be if I did everything direct, but I didn't really care, as I pretty much have the time to spend.

But I told my friend about this and she gave me this look like it was the stupidest thing ever to not just fly between these countries all at once and save the time. It's too late now, but what do you think? And, of course, tell me stories about these cities! And about Ryanair, lol.

Paris is my only contribution to this. What Tri said, expensive, but also a very cool city!!

As to RyanAir, good luck and God forbid you expect anything other than a seat! DO NOT be late checking in, as they will blithely walk off and leave you standing there!!
