I think alot of parents turn a blind eye to it.

No parent wants to think "My child is engadging in orgys and he/she is only 14!!"

So instead they ignore the signs, or they talk to their kid about sex and thats the end of it, no follow up.

I personaly dont think talking to your kids about sex and giving them information is enough. It needs to be a continues things, to be able to have open dialog instead of parents talking at their kid about sex.

As for how partys can be held without parent supervision, its easy. Parents go away for teh weekend, their daughter Mag stay with their BF Kerry. Kerry and Mag tell the parent they are staying at "Alice's" and they throw a party at mags un-attended house. Or whatever. There are so many scanarios. And like i said, parents ignore it or turn a blind eye to it. "My kid wouldnt throw a party, she is safely sleeping at Kerrys and her parents are responsible!" Hah. There are so many ways to have parties.

And alot of times sex hook-ups take place during school, people ditch schoo, go to so and sos house, no one is home because tha parents are at work and youf uck eachother like their is no tomorrow for hours unattentded. Hell there used to be DAY parties at my school which was just this. You would all skip school and go to someones house and drink, smoke, fuck or whatever you wanted all day. You left in time for the person to clean the house up before parents came home from work.

I dont think they look at it as that way. Its a set up, a contract so to speak. Not picking someone off the street they DONT care about and fucking. They generaly are friends, hang out from time to time and also have sex. Its not really as if they are strangers, like in a one night stand situation.

And these days it seems crushes last a month then its then its over with and you crush on someone else. So him having a crush i dont think means much, hince him having friends with benefits, and not really attempting to act on the crush. He seems to not want to get involved in a relationshp.

He will learn eventually. He will most likely get into a serious relationship when he is READY, and clearly he isnt ready. And he is probably going to learn alot of things from having friends with benefits, because its not as easy as it looks. Attatment can happen and all sorts of things can be learned from casualy fucking around. I learned a hell of alot. Everything you do is a learning process, some may seem right to you and others seem wrong, but he will still discover things about himself and learn things.

Eh, and im so not talking 'good' about causally sleeping around. Im not promoting it here. Im trying to make you see that he is going to learn things just like you did but in a different way, and however he goes about living his life and learning, you cant really compare it to how you did this or that because you will wind up frsuertated and left with many questions that have no real good answers

I'm 21 sprank, so a year younger than you. It definately isn't your age group that took things slowly, so it's not some sort of 'generation' thing. By the time I was 16 most people I knew had had one night stands.

Although, I have, for whatever reason, I don't know, always been under the impressions that Americans tend to take things like that alot slower than us. Maybe it's the whole 'date' thing. 'Do you kiss on a first date?' ' How many dates do you have to go on before you hit second base' (whatever the fuck the bases are?) It just seems a very slow process over there generally... Though that could just be media portrayal. Of course, that's all I have to go on really....

Holy shit. What school did you go to Retro? I would go there. My school is hella gay. Its a jr./sr. high school and there is only like 250 kids, and its on an indian reservation so all the indians are related.[/b]

My school was just a slut fest. I cant even describe how much it also lacked in the ability to "teach". It was all around a shitty-ass school with no rules hardly, well rules that were actually "enforced". It was out of control.

I switched schools when i cleaned up my act. I actually went to a school that was way out of my way, and everyone there was like "Sex? Whats sex?!" Haha, it was very different from the school i attented and neighboring schools.

I find that alot has to do with how the school is run too. When i switched schools the new school was STRICT and hardass. I mean you couldnt even skip without getting caught and getting your ass reemed. It was like some mini police accadamy. And it was amazing how the students there were for the most part were complete oppisite of my old school sexualy, and my old school you could get away with murder. I think its sort of an interesting comparsion to see how schools are run and to see what type of students are attending. Maybe it was nothing more then a coinsidence, but never the less, interesting.

Schools are basically the creators of massive orgies.
