What do you think about porn in general? Why?

I think that porn can have it's uses, but that a lot of the time it does more damage than help. I don't mean to say that men look at porn so much that they don't appreciate real women or anything like that... but I think about stuff like how the men in the films are expected to go so long, but most men aren't like that. Or how it shows all women to be able to have vaginal orgasms, when a lot of women really don't. Or that men can always get it up 100% of the time. This is the kind of stuff that is causing sexual anxiety. I really like watching soft-core, erotica type porn... but not the typical run of the mill mainstream shit.

What do you think about the women in porn?

Strange lifestyle decision, but who am I to judge them? I would like the girls better if they were a bit more natural looking.

Ew, ew and ew. Nasty, ugly guys with dicks that are way too big. These men look like they are oozing testosterone, which really isn't a turn on for me.

I think it's something that can be very useful. I think that if we didn't have porn then people would just find other ways to get off... via live shows or something like that.

Same shit as I was saying above. Puts too high of standards on sex... men think they need to be hard in five seconds every time and last for hours... girls think they are supposed to get off every time at the same moment that the guy does. well, this answer depends on your experience with people.
for example, as I mentioned a minute ago in my rant... I'm dating this guy who seems kind of naive about the world in general (don't even get me started on our "rapists and pot-dealers get the same amount of empathy-none, they're both criminals" debate)- like thinking tits are supposed to pop out of a bra- which is just silly. but it's not like these things are irreversable. and I think my experience with this guy is a minute example. he thinks a morbidly obese woman in a bikini is "hillarious"- and which I think is disgusting.

What do you think about porn in general? Why? Well, I actually watch porn sometimes. Not all the time, but sometimes when I have nothing else to do, or I'm just generally curious, because I am a virgin. I like to watch the hardcore ones, like lesbian threesomes or the role playing ones. It makes me feel like I have an alternative life, seeing as how my own life is pretty much boring.

What do you think about the women in porn? It's their choice. If they want to do it, let them. I try not to judge, even if some of them are just nasty looking, and really unnatural.

Does porn have a legitimate role in society? In my opinion? Not really. Maybe for some couples who are having trouble in a relationship, and need something to spice it up, but generally I think that it's used too loosely, like in movies and on TV. Jerry Springer, anyone?

What do you think are the effects of porn on society/culture? like I said, it could either be used to help spicen up a relationship, or it could ruin one. And I really worry about kids and porn. Kids are being introsuced to the hardcore, too graphic stuff waaay too early. It needs to be censored a little more.

What do you think about porn in general? Why? I think porn is really cheesy. It's bad acting plus bad sex acting, and the women totally exaggerate their moans. There are some good ones out there, but for the most part, I think they're ridiculous and they make me laugh more than turn me on.

And so it's nice to see that porn is around, as the people filming in it are obviously there because they chose to be, and they're totally cool with sex since it's their job. Porn is a thriving business, and this how some people make a living. Whether it's respectable or not is a different story.

Plus, I think some people could totally use porn for bettering themselves. Because they're inexperienced, or uncreative. Or maybe they aren't confident or able to do their own fantasies so they can live them through porn. Eh.

Like most people said, if you're naive, you're going to have all these preconceptions about what sex should be and you'll be putting it on some pedastol. I think it's giving sex a negative image only because the society we live in looks down on it.

I don't think porn is a big deal. I've watched it, I've watched it with a SO. I think it can be degrading to both genders. I think people are just uncomfortable in their own sex life when they attack porn.

I don't really think much of porn to be honest. I mean i started looking at porn probably in Junior High, and haven't looked back since. To me, Porn is a lot like any other form of media out there. It's there to entertain, and it's a billion dollar industry that a lot of people just don't like to talk about.

I think pornography has shown great leaps in accessibility in recent years due to the internet, but to say that this generation's men are the way they are because of porn is ridiculous. I think people have had some version of porn since probably forever. There have been erotic shows/dances, clubs and prostitution since anyone can remember. It's just the way it is. I think a lot of people would like to believe that things were a lot more innocent 50 years ago, but the fact is that pornography videos have been around since the invention of film, and it'll be around for much longer.

What do you think about the women in porn?

I think the women in porn have a job just like anyone else that they use to pay the bills with. Simple. I mean one could make the argument that they are exploited on camera and aren't respected by the general public, but i think that it comes with the territory, and women are compensated fairly in the industry for it. I think you'd be surprised how much an 'actress' can command for just one day's work. Do all of them make that much? No, probably not, but that can be said for any industry, especially when comparing it to the film industry where actresses still have to bus tables to pay rent.

I think a lot of people view women working in mainstream porn as sexually abused confused girls who were suckered into the industry and can't get out. I don't think that's the case.

What do you think about the men in porn?
I think men in porn probably have it worse than the women. Yeah they're fucking porn stars, but they are easily replaceable and get paid a fraction of what an actress will make. They have to be able to perform on command, in front of a lot of people and lights for hours at a time. Hard work if you ask me.

Absolutely. Porn is a legitimate industry that not only provides thousands, if not millions of jobs, but helps people of all sexes and sexual orientations everywhere release sexual tension and fulfill fantasies.

This may sound weird, but i think we as a society have more of an effect on the porn industry than it on us. If anything, porn films reflect current trends and stereotypes rather than create their own. I think we have mainstream media to thank for that. If women feel that they can't meet up to the impossible standards that they think guys hold them to, i would blame magazines, television and movies. Not pornography.

The shows and movies we watch help mold are vision of perfection, and as that changes so does porn. I think if you watch porn movies dated 10-15 years ago, you would notice that things like big breasts blond hair etc was the norm. Now that seems to be a thing of the past, and most popular starlets today have natural breasts that seem to correlate with a lot of leading ladies on the big screen today. Shows like baywatch, and actresses like denise richards, pamela anderson, carmen electra etc. affected the porn industry.

What do you think about porn in general? I see it as an innocent fulfillment to begin with. Adult erotica. An extension on the already sex obsessed world evident in the past few centuries. But It gets bad when It gets abused, and especially when it brainwashes the few (the FEW...) impressionable people to believe that that is what sex is all about.

I&#39;m not against porn, It&#39;s meant to be about fantasy and shit and more-often-than-not male audience, as males, need visual stimulation, which is fine, and aswell as it being essential that people don&#39;t get brainwashed into thinking that&#39;s the way sex is, with certain people and cultures and shit that&#39;s exactly how it is. And to get pissy over it shows you&#39;re naive and/or have nothing better to do than blame porn for your problems.

What like naked pictures or videos of people having sex? I mean, I&#39;m all up for naked women and people having sex. There&#39;s the porn industry though which is another matter isn&#39;t it? It&#39;s just a huge industry which is horrendously exploitative and very, very grimy. It&#39;s run by sleazy people who don&#39;t give a shit about the people who appear in their films, they just want cash. So a lot of people get very badly treated for not that much reward (unless you&#39;re a woman and you become fairly successful) and it fucks people up big time....

Some are obviously very sad people. Maybe prostitutes looking for an alternative source of income, runaways or whatever and maybe a few nymphos thrown in for good measure. A lot get very messed up and they&#39;re used unscrupulously and ruthlessly in the course of basically whoring themselves out for the camera.

It obviously takes a &#39;special&#39; kind of guy to be in porn. They get paid a shitload less than the women and have to work a lot harder to make decent money. A lot of them are probably very insecure guys.
