When I got pregnant with Nev I was on birth control. It happens sometimes. It's not completley effective.

Why... are you knocked up?

Not sure if it helps or is important - but I've lost count of how many times condoms have broken. We just got lucky when we did use them I think.

I've never had a pregnancy result from a birth control malfunction. :knocksonwood: Both my pregnancies were when we weren't using anything and considering having children.

Well i decided to write a paper for one of my classes on the effectiveness of birth control and how its viewed throughout the world. Half the class is writing about abortion and i didnt feel like jumpin on the baby killin train. I got the idea for this paper because in the last 3 months i have had one friend get a girl prego in spite of birth control and another in spite of using a condom.

what should i vote if i took plan b the next day after a condom malfunction so i don't know if i would have been pregnant or not ..

Hahah, on behalf of my lack of paying attention, I put "never experienced" as my "never done it", so perhaps others did the same.

Also- what about combining them? Condoms + Pull out, or BC + Condoms, or all three. But i suppose unexpected pregnancy wouldn&#39;t be a problem if people were implementing more than one birth control method....

i use the pill, and still pull out.

i think its still possible to get pregnant while using 2 forms of birth control. Like, it would be alot less likely, but the chances of it happening could overlap. Nothing is 100% effective. (except abstinence)

Are you sure you weren&#39;t off by like half a day or a day on your pill taking?

I thought that the pill was supposed to be completely effective unless you screw up taking it.

Used the withdrawl method for eight months successfully.

there is no form of birth control that is 100% effective - except for abstinence

even sterilization can fail

BC+condoms+pulling out and cumming on her face

= no preggers. and lots of fun.

I took it every day, at the same time every day.

It could even be something as simple as you having the flu and puking before the bc had gotten completley in your system.

On the other hand, I&#39;ve gone like a month recently without taking the pill because of certain medical problems and I didn&#39;t get pregnant. I kind of felt that I&#39;m almost 25, I want to have more kids anyways, and it&#39;s dangerous to get pregant after thirty so if got knocked up it wouldn&#39;t really matter. I make good money and all that. But, I didn&#39;t. So, I guess things usually work out. Sometimes, if you want to become pregnant, you have to be off the pill for quite a while so your body has a chance to recover and be fertile again.
