    A friend is trying to set me up with this guy that is apparently "perfect" for me and I agreed to do it, partly out of curiosity, partly just for the experience. Now I'm fucking kicking myself in the ass for it. As the "date" gets closer I get more nervous. We're meeting at my friend's party, so it won't be formal but I'm more nervous about the fucking awkward conversation. Any tips?

    Hah, I would never agree to something like that. But I've been set up without knowing it before, and I just got really drunk. Try that. Because if he's gross or otherwise uninspiring then you can just be drunk and pretend you don't hear him and wander off somewhere.

    I think it's a great idea and I'm sure you'll be fine. I've recently opened myself up to the idea of dating. I decided that I would accept any date (well, just about....) and just try to have fun. What do I have to lose? I might meet a great guy or I'll get a good experience from dating. Just go and have fun.
