Thread: is it always about sex?

As a guy, all I have to add is my own experience as encouragement.
I'm 25 and a virgin by choice.
I've had 3 serious releationships in the past 6 years averaging 9 months.
With each of those, sex was not a part or a problem in any of them.
I've been with my current girlfriend for 5 months also with no sex; something we spent time talking about, among other things, before ever dating.
We're not 'just friends' and she knows it, and we're closer than many other couples we know, especially those who pretty much only have sex holding thier relationships together.


We're the minority, but we *are* out here.

S'mad that is mate but I really have to hand it to you for having the mindset to do something like that.

But we all know that all men just want sex and all women just want long-term relationships.

yet there are many cultures in the world today that look down apond sex outside of marraige and only recently has it become an okay thing to do with someone besides a hooker/escort in most of the ones its not. its accually against the law in quite a few countries ... those countries must be full of stupid... quick send them a link to the site so we can enlighten them on how waiting for sex is dumb.

if wiating for sex is something you want to do, don't let some guy talk you out of it. There are guys who are willing to wait, as esternogligen is an example of. They might be a little bit rarer, but you don't have to lower your standards. Dont have sex until you are comfortable with it, and if that means waiting until you are married, then so be it

Notice how basically none of them are actual democracies and most are heavily religious. They'll get over it eventually.

Don't wait until marriage to have sex it's a ridiculous idea. Why miss out on such a massive and fun part of growing up?

If someone doesn't feel comfortable having sex, they don't feel comfortable having sex. End of story. It's not 'fun' if you don't want to do it. I don't know why waiting is always frowned upon so much. The judgmental attitudes are ridiculous, not the waiting.

Really... only a girlfriend should have a problem with this.

the united states still has laws in most states, for that kinda thing called promise laws, technically if a person was planning on being with someone for the rest of their life and the other person ended the realtionship you could go to court over the damages.

and um Id like to know which country does not have a heavy religious following? they all believe in something.. just cause democracies have many different religious followings doesnt mean there isnt any.

people let things slide even tho its illegal.
