Christain philosphers, for the most part, came up with a bunch of arguments to gain power of people and a bunch of horse shit. No where to they speak about how one might speak too or confer with god or how one should prepare for death and visiting god. They only make arguments on why you should belive them.

Not every particle is destined to do somthing. Fundemental law of quantum mechanics. Nothing is predicatable because subatomic particles movement is totaly random.
Inspirational quote on individuality #223: "Lately everyone I know/ has been shittin' all over me/ Hey you, and all of my good friends/ They disowned my fucking friends and me/ I guess it's because/ I gotta go off in my little own direction/ But fuck 'em all. I'll never follow./ They can suck on my erection." - Mr. GG Allin

I was baptised as a Catholic till I was old enough to realize religions are just human propaganda. Maybe when I get older and senile I will start to talk all this magic god crap.. But for now, no time to be controlled by such human tricks.

I became atheist by default coz I supect religions are just a bunch of cults like all others. Cept for maybe Buddism (sp) which teach you that YOU are god.

Believe in yourself not some fairy tale. If you have to go back or revert do it one day, but dont fall for that human propaganda like the bible.. its mind game and lies.

Be free before you get old.

BTW, Tim, nice Manson pic.. I think think Dahmer was cooler. Altho crazy he was a genius. Like Manson too. Check out Mansons albums sometime.. pretty weird shit. I got a few of them.. and the live one in San Quenten... HE hated technology.

What implications does Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle have on free will?

Is free will and an omnipotent God contradictory? If all our actions are know by God then isn't that predetermination? So, how can we have free will and have an omnipotent God?

I guess you could claim that God gives us our genes, but isn't a better answer that our genes are determined by our environment?

The whole 'genes' thing has bothered me with religion...why does God make some people really ugly and others are born with natural beauty. It just seems unfair. You can say that it's all a lesson of sorts, but I don't buy that. Same with intelligence, physique, personality, etc, etc.

Mav, you need to be okay with DK's answer of 'you can't understand God', because at the end of the day I think that's they only answer we can come up with for most of these tough questions. I really think that the difference between a Christian and a non-Christian is that they can just accept that and leave it at that....those who can't aren't Christians.
    On Late Night with McBane:
McBane to his bands black front man: Hey schowie I like your new jacket, it makes you look like a homersexual.
    The audience boos him.
Mcbane: Ahh, maybe you are all homersexuals.
