    Thumbs up

    Hey everone...

Recently, I've begun working on some serious lifestyle changes to help counterattack my anxiety and panic attacks...I've started a regular exercise program...and I also want to include meditation and supplemental breathing techniques...I used to meditate, but I for one reason or another, I stopped doing it much...Any tips or techniques?

I highly recommend you look into Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for your anxiety.
    On Late Night with McBane:
McBane to his bands black front man: Hey schowie I like your new jacket, it makes you look like a homersexual.
    The audience boos him.
Mcbane: Ahh, maybe you are all homersexuals.

Depends what sort of meditation you want to go for.

Transcendentalism is probably the easiest form of mediation. Just sit, eyes open or closed, in a quiet space and repeat a mantra (it can be a phrase, a word, or just a sound - i concentrate on slow breathing) and think of nothing but that mantra. The idea is to clear your mind of thoughts whilst remaining conscious. You'll have to repeat the cycle of repeating the mantra and letting it fade away to clear your mind a few times in each 15-20 minute session.
The broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying. These people know only too well how to use falsehood for the basest purposes... Adolf Hitler
