A group of amateur film-makers believe they may have proof that ghosts really do exist after one of them caught something strange on camera.

George Gunn said he captured pictures of a ghostly apparition while out walking along a footpath in Outwood, near Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Mr Gunn, a member of Outwood Community Video Club, said he thought the figure looked like that of a Roman soldier.

Why was the cameraman filming this particular patch of pathway? If the joggers couldn&#39;t see the ghost, I doubt he could.

Maybe it was Octavian. We all know he killed Cleopatra.

I've had ghostly things happen, I'm definately a believer.. I just don't know about that particular one though..

Awww, I reckon there's a couple of Sasquatch out there. Or at leas there have been until recently.

I dont believe in ghosts either, but ghost stories and movies are thrilling.
I still wanna spend the night in a haunted hotel someday, just to see if it will scare me.

I went to Port Arthur in Tasmania recently to check out the place the majority of the first convicts from England resided and when 36 people were shot in 1996 and...I don't know if it was the fact that It was an incredibly beautiful day but I didn't get any feelings of eeriness, unhappiness or spiritual anything. My friend even locked me in one of the untouched jail cells in pitch dark and I still felt nothing. This is also the place they host ghost tours at night and there's hundreds of people who've seen/felt something or whatever, I didn't even get a FEELING.

Everything weird I can describe is easily explained by water pipes and power surges haha. I do believe in the spiritual world though even though I might have a mental block up I dunno.

I don't disbelieve in "ghosts". I do believe that there are things we cannot explain. When someone tells me that they have had an experience, I believe that they have experienced what they say they have. There are people who are very intune to places and things that may have happened in a place in time gone by. ESP plays a large part of unexplaned happenings. Power of suggestion may do the same. Many photos of aperations are light sources or double exposures entering the film. We all have the ability to know and feel things, but very few have developed the ability to tap into this. I would use the term energy before I would say ghost. But this is just my opinion as I have never had an actual experience.
