I'm encouraging intelligent discourse.

I voted pro-choice but there's not much to say after that, you know?

Usually subjects like these are very sensitive because everyone knows someone who has had one, or has had one themselves, and everyone really feels kind of strongly one way or the other.

Did anyone see that movie about the drug addict who got pregnant and she was homeless. She got arrested for endangering her fetus and then these anti-abortionists took her in and tried to turn her into one of them, and then the pro-choice people got their hands on her and it was a huge battle for her fetus.

It was really hilarious. I'll try to find out what it was called if no one knows off hand.

Personally, I would never have an abortion, but I'm pro-choice for everyone else. I'd like to think that it will only be used in the circumstances that you listed, which is why I voted that way, because I guess I fall in the middle somewhere.

I voted pro choice because it's not my body, and i don't have to carry a baby to term.

That being said, if it were two consenting adults, especially if it were in a relationship, i would hope they would have the baby.

Like if my gf got pregnant, I would probably not want her to get an abortion, but I would support her in whatever decision she did choose.

I may be the only person in america who doesn't care one way or the other about abortion.

i'm definitely pro choice. i probably wouldn't ever get one but i would like to have the choice to get one if i wanted it. right now my life is fairly stable and i probably earn enough money to support myself and a baby if i had to. however, that could change.

100% pro-choice and I don't care about the circumstances. To be perfectly honest, I wish it was a lot more common than it is. Lots of people have kids who shouldn't.

written by an acquaintance who I was actually debating on why pro-life was the way to go because abortion violates a categorical imperative of the worth of human life that must exist in law in order to ensure human rights (playing devil&#39;s advocate of course), pretty much totally sums up my views on pro-life, as well as the moralization of abortion as some how a negative thing

For all of you who would never have an abortion, are you opposed to other forms of birth control? What exactly is it about a zygote pre-gestation that makes it seem more important a type of potential human life then egg/sperm cells?
