IMO, as an issue of morals, its equally bad for both genders. But I believe society would look at it as worse for women because ultimately they are the ones that have to give the go-ahead to have an extramaritial affair.
speedy is right, but it seems to me that more often than not, its the man that accepts the female's advances and participates. . . there is a large percentage of guys that fuck anything that has a twat. . . no matter their status

Cheating is cheating. Men and women do it, so there can't be a "worse" when it comes down to it.
Cheating is bad for both sexes. It is neither worse or better if a certain sex does cheats. Someone always gets hurt either way.
It doesn't matter if you have a penis or a vagina, if you cheat, then you cheated and that in general is pretty bad.
