One thing about it, like I said...it takes the emotion out of it. It IS impersonal though. As to the timing, it would be the same if they told them face to face or by email. No difference.

stuff is just stuff. your emotional health is much more important. holding raging anger in is more harmful than your faggot-assed tv that probably deserves to get its ass beat anyway.
Well, fuck. These have got to be the most thickheaded people on the planet. She's back, been here for 2 days. Today he left for work this afternoon, and she was staying.
I asked him if he was taking *blank* home, and he says no, shes gonna hang here. So I said dude....She doesn't fucking live here, and she's not staying here when you're not here. We had this conversation last week, did you not understand what we talked about? He just looked at me.......and said what is your problem? So we rehashed the whole thing about her being here all the time, me not being able to feel comfortable in my own home, her using shit of mine, etc. etc.
I suggested that maybe he needed to spend some time at HER place. He says, "Oh she has roommates". I lost it then. Honestly, lost it. I yelled (and I'm not a screamer by nature) "WTF do you think I am???? WTF do you think we have here???? Get her the fuck outta her, now or I'm calling the cops!!! Enough is fucking enough!!!"
So they left. It took me hours to calm down enough to even type this. I don't see a good ending coming here.

Try to keep your wits about you. I know it's insanely frustrating but getting pissed off only screws up your blood pressure in the long run. It's mighty fucked that you'd have to threaten to call the cops. But I'm sure that was more out of frustration than anything.
You will have to point out to him that they are going to have to be considerate of both sets of roommates - not just hers. If they can be considerate of her roommates, then they should be able to be considerate of his roommates. Which means they are going to have to come to some kind of compromise to share the burden between the two sets of roommates.
If he can't see that it's unfair to put it all on his roommates then he's just not thinking clearly.

Dude, that's bullshit.
You've tried to reason, now let the system work this out.
Call the cops, look for stuff in the lease to use against them, talk to the other roommates.
I would have done the same thing; way better than a passive-aggressive note.![]()

There's no lease, totally a month to month thing. So...last weekend, the OTHER roomie has his gf in for the weekend. They get all drunk and loud, I could care less cuz with my implants out I don't hear shit. BUT i get up in the middle of the night to take a piss, and someone has puked all over our only bathroom. Floor, sink, counter, toilet......I actually stepped in it before I got the light on.
I said fuck it and pissed off the side of the porch, then went back in and banged on his door till he got up. I pointed to the bathroom and said "Go clean that shit up. NOW!", and I went back to bed.
I'm going to be out of town for the next 3 weeks, after which I'm finding a new place. Enough is enough. I'm too old for roommates any more.

Good for you Likes.
You are right, that is too much. They just don't care and it's not fair for you. I think you are doing the right thing by taking things into your own hands.

how old are these guys? sounds like a couple of amateurs.
'Cause I'm that fool that broke the key- I'm unlockable so don't check me- I got weight on my shoulders and things on my mind- The sky is falling and I'm falling behind... No shame in my game just par for the path- I try to hone my craft because at hand's the task- But I find I'm not playing with a full deck- I'm up to my neck like Toulouse Lautrec
Amazingly, grown men. Both are around my age.

The broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying. These people know only too well how to use falsehood for the basest purposes... Adolf Hitler
I also agree. I think paying an extra couple of hundred dollars a month would totally worth not having to deal with adults who act like 18 year olds that have just moved away from home.
I hope you will be able to find a good place when you come back and let these guys know whos boss!![]()
Also, call the electric company and shut off the power 2 days before you leave.

**UPDATE**
I'm finally getting my own place! I bit the bullet and decided to stay in Philly for another year, so I'm getting my own pad tomorrow!
I didn't want to be lease bound, but there's just not much of a way around it. I did get an escape clause that won't rape me if I do have to leave. It's a small 1 bedroom, with all new carpet and appliances....650 a month with heat and hot water included, so the power bill shouldn't be bad.
Now....to get all my crap up here from storage in Florida. UGH.....
Nevertheless, I'm stoked!!!!
