Thread: Bad first kiss

My first real kiss was with a girl. I don't remember the actual details to be honest.

I do however remember my first kiss with a boy. He was older, I was waay into him for all the wrong reasons. We went on a date, and he took me to a cemetery (don't ask, I was a morbid teenager) and we wandered and talked and held hands and yadda yadda. Then he asked me if he could kiss me. I was sick at the time and stuffed up, so I said yes. Like others, he basically tried to eat my face and to top it off I was all snotty and couldn't breath. It wasn't fun, or romantic, and certainly wasn't what I had hoped for it to be with him. But now, many years later, it's something I chuckle at. One of many first awkward experiences.

I have found that not only is your first real kiss often awkward, but even first kisses with new people can be awkward simply due to different kissing styles. Takes time sometimes to develop your own way of kissing someone new and make your selves mesh. Some people are truly just horrible kissers, while others just need time to adjust to the way you kiss and like to be kissed.
