    should i trust him?

    hey guys

so me and my boyfriend have been together for nearly 3 months. the other night we went out to the pub with a bunch of friends that night he told me he was falling in love with me and i thought that was really sweet anyway i had to leave early. so he was still there with some of our friends. one of our friends that was there is a girl that he really liked and has had a one night stand with her they went out for a day before she dumped him. i don't wanna be the jealous controlling girlfriend so i don't say anything but he sometimes meets up with her and they have lunch and my friend who is friends with this girl once was just looking at her inbox on her phone and noticed he'd been txting her quite a bit. it bothers me a bit but again i don't wanna be that jealous controlling girlfriend and i trust him so i just got over it. but that night at the pub after i left he got a bit drunk and was talking to that girl and told her that he was still in love with her and she's the only girl he's never been able to get over.

my friend told me this and i am just totally crushed that i burst in to tears and i never cry over guys. i mean if he loves some other girl, then why the hell is he with me?? what does he even want from me? i just felt kinda betrayed i mean are his feelings for me even real?? and i feel like i'm wasting my time being with some guy who may never love me, and get over his past love. what annoys me more is that before him i had this friend who i was pretty close with and i really really liked him we hung out heaps and we had a bit of thing we kissed but that was it in the end he didn't like me like that, and when i met my boyfriend now i made an effort to get over this guy before being with him, and still i make no effort to keep in touch with my friend i don't get with him to have luch or txt or communicate with him ever, because i don't want to hurt my boyfriend and ruin the relationship in anyway.

it pisses me off so much that he can say i'm falling in love with you and that very same night he tells that girl he's still in love with her.

i just don't know what to do, should i confront him? i'm not good confrontations and i don't know wat to say?? i'm just trying so hard to be a good girlfriend i don't want to ruin things

If you really want to be that exclusive, don’t date someone who hangs out one on one with his ex.
Don’t worry about being the good girlfriend.
You are how you are, so tell him it bothers you.
Trying to just ignore it, justify it, or just deal with it will only drive you crazy.

A good girlfriend. What is that really? Is a good girlfriend really one who suffocates how she really feels so that her boyfriend can get away with more? I'm sure guys go through a phase where that is exactly what they want in a girlfriend, but maybe they need someone to hold them accountable at times. Telling one person you are falling for them and another that you never stopped loving them in the same night isn't good form. It sounds like he's hedging his bets. Just be up front with him, and tell him how it makes you feel. he is either into you enough to correct that behaviour or not. its probably the 'or not' you are afraid of, but sometimes you just have to let these things go and move on.
Don't not communicate with your partner about your relationship because you don't want to hurt his feelings when its his behaviour that is unacceptable

It is really a problem. I think if you love him than told him every things and every problem. I think you should trust him for some time for looking.
