don't get any more pets almost lost slug that way
It seems silly but I'm so upset right now about this. It was always kind of understood that whenever I had my own place, I would take my cats unless my mom wanted to keep them. But she just dropped them off at my grandma's house and was like "you take care of them", but my grandma can't take care of three cats because 1) she's old and 2) her husband has been having tons of surgeries and medical issues and she has a hard enough time trying to take care of him. She just doesn't have the means to take care of them.
Apparently my mom told her I would take them when I came up to visit (WTF?) but I can't because I live with my dad in an apartment and we're not allowed to have pets. My grandma says she's going to keep them until summer and after that she's going to find homes for them.

I grew up with these cats. One is like 15 years old, another 13, and they're in perfectly healthy shape, they're perfectly well behaved, they don't climb on counters or fuck up furniture or anything. But they're going to be probably separated and sent to different homes which depresses me because they've always lived together and just the fact that when I do get my own place I can't be like "can i have my cats now?" I wish I could move out right now and go get them.![]()

When it comes to pink butterflies i could give a flying fuck.
Aaaw honey I'm sorry, my brother has left his cats at his old house (next door) and they've been coming over daily for feeds, poor cats, they cop so much shit I swear.
I hope something gets worked out!
Sweet as the Punch.Syco- "The Empress is the latter leg of this triad, representing the physical body and the material world. From her comes all the pleasure of the senses and the abundance of life in all its forms. She is also the mother archetype, and through her we get a first glimpse of the power of love in the Tarot." I think this is all representative of awesomly large tits, no?
That doesn't seem silly at all, if you're an animal person they become another member of your family, especially when you've had them for that long, since you were young. They become a massive part of your life.
I dunno what to say really, that's harsh as fuck =(
Get the fuck off my board you bitch.
Don't you have any friends or anyone you work with who can take them temporarily if you give them money for food and stuff?
my parents gave my 4 cats to a shelter when i was away at school. i came home one weekend and they just weren't there. it's heart wrenching. i'm so sorry ghetto

they were all strays! I lived on my own, but i moved back home so i could save money to go to school. Three of the cats had previously lived with my family anyway.
And yes, I'm building an army.
Be prepared.

That seriously sucks, Ghetto. Does your mom understand that she basically just doomed your cats to shelters and/or being separated? Because honestly who really wants to adopt an elderly [13 is pretty old for a cat, even if it is healthy] cat except people who already know you guys? Maybe, as bong said, you could see if you have any friends or family willing to at least keep them in their house for you?
Sadly, I'm allergic to cats.
When I was very young, I had cats tho. Gave them some Godawful names too. I remember Shebee-a, Shebee-i, and Shebee-o, and their mother was Tabitha. Mom even recently gave me some old black and white pics of them!

stuff is just stuff. your emotional health is much more important. holding raging anger in is more harmful than your faggot-assed tv that probably deserves to get its ass beat anyway.
Sorry about your cats, bud.
I miss kitties. One of my friends has one that will let you know you have been accepted as family by asking you to shake his food bowl for him. Yep, no kidding. The cat jumps up next to where ever you are sitting, lets you pet him for a moment, then jumps down, walks a few steps and looks at you. He will do this until you get up. Then he will stay ahead of you all the way to the laundry room, where he will jump up on the dryer next to his food bowl. If you still have no clue, he will touch the bowl a couple times and stare at you some more.
The bowl is one of those reservoir ones, but the kibble gets sort of hung up in it. So periodically, someone has to give it a shake so more food will fall into the bowl. I suspect when no one is around, the cat can probably reach food with his paw, but he has become a rather adept trainer of humans.
Might be an IQ test too though. He never starts meowing or anything. When the person is too dumb to figure out that they are supposed to follow him, he will leave them alone.
Wish I wasn`t allergic. More than three days or a week (seems to depend on the cat) sees me feeling like I have a cold all the time.
People eliminating your stuff on you sucks though.
Ayuh, not dead yet. Might change that with an S1000RR though

As for friends that could take them in, no...they either already have animals, live in apartments that require like a $500 security deposit for having animals, or don't even live on their own and maybe if it were just one cat it'd be feasible but it's three.![]()

The only other thing I can suggest then is if you can find the money to put them in a cattery for a bit, or alternatively find someone, or a charity in your area who looks after cats who need rehoming and ask them to take them temporarily in return for you paying for their food and making a donation to them?

contact shelters and talk to people at vets. people who love animals will be sympathetic to the cause and i bet someone will take them temporarily

Thats really sad, I'd be annoyed if my parents did that. Our cat at my mums place went missing which was sad enough! I was going to suggest the same as what others did about asking a friend or family to look after them but you already replied saying it's no go.
So yes maybe a cattery will take them for a while? The picture is very cute by the way, someone must want to look after them.
