Just got back from the midnight showing of Batman Begins. I wasn't too enthusiastic about coming to catch the first show, but man... best movie of the year. Fucking just plain awesome. GO SEE IT! Or... i'll kill you.

I don't know... how could this movie beat out that batman with arnold in it? You know Mr. Freezy or something. "ICE TO SEE YOU" -- that should have won best actor..and the movie an academy award.

The defect in this one is bleach.

To put it quite frankly, this movie is going to win an academy award.

Dude this movie is packed full of the most explosive, drug induced angry secretive cowbell ever.

Are you saying that because you havent seen it yet, or because you saw it and you have a bad taste in movies?

I've read reviews in preparation for my viewing tonight; they're all screamingly good. Entertainment Weekly gave it an "A." They never give A's. I'll post later once I've seen it.
THINK...then post.

First off, Christian Bale KICKS ASS!!! Have you seen him in American Psycho or Equilibrium? Both of those movies, IMO, kicks ass. He is an excellent actor and I hope he wins an award for creating such interesting characters.

Secondly, yeah, which one of the Batman movies sucked?....

Batman: This one, to me, didn't suck. Tho Jack Nicholson stole the show a little.

Batman Returns: This was a good one too. I say Danny Devito deserved an award for breathing some life into the Penguin. Kudos. Catwoman, I'd kiss the ground she walked on. Meow!

Batman Forever: That movie was ALL about the Riddler and Two-face. Awsome. Val Kilmer, a good actor mind you, was okay, but great as Batman.

Batman & Robin: Eww. This is that suckie movie I was talkin' about. Tho Arnold Schwarzenegger was an interesting pick for Mr. Freeze, indeed, George Clooney stank as Batman. And WTF? Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl? Corny. Uma Thurman, totally wrong pick for Poison Ivy. The characters turned into goofy cartoons of themselves. So yeah, this one sucked.

And so ladies and germs.......Batman Begins......again! I have NO DOUBT IN MY MIND that Christian Bale will rock. And this time the batmobile doesn't look like something out of some star trek movie. The look of the batmobile is a more realistic one instead of some weird vibrator on wheels. Michael Kane is a good choice for Alfred - he's perfect. OH! How could I forget.......NO NIPPLES ON THE BATSUIT THIS TIME! Thank gawd! Cuz I though the Dark Knight would we forever the "walkin' thermometer". Then again, I don't care, Christian Bale is hot!!!

I thought this movie was incredible. I really liked it, and thought that it's definitely the best comic book/superhero film. It's also one of the best films I saw all year, and I even saw Million Dollar Baby. But I also must admit that I felt it lost some of the momentum in the last part of it. I thought the beginning was absolutely incredible, with the training and everything, but the end sorta seemed rushed, or something. I dunno. But I still enjoyed it. Really enjoyed it. Maybe the Scarecrow and Joker will team up on Batman. Imagine the damage laughing gas and scare gas can do to a person. You'd be completely insane.

Wasn't it weird though without the same buttler? I heard that from a lot of people who hadn't seen it and that it would be wierd with out him.

But I love Batman movies, I must say that this is one of the only movie series that I really do enjoy and plan on watching. So I am thinking I shall see it soon. And I loved Val Kilmer as Batman...grr!

I felt Val Kilmer could have been a better Batman. Like Sinister said, it was about Riddler and Two Face. They didn`t spend a lot of time on the dark knight in that one.

Also, nipples on the bat suit was a little over the top for me. Sure, I could put nipples on my vest as well, but what is the point? Does not do much about stopping a bullet puncture I bet.
Ayuh, not dead yet. Might change that with an S1000RR though

Yeah, I can't remember, but did Batgirl's suit have nipples? I'm fairly certain that it didn't, which doesn't make sense to me. God, Joel Schumacer (sp?) is weird.
