I didn't read through all of the articles just posted them for their single points that whites where slaves at one time too.

I am in no way racist. I have nothing against black people what so ever, at all. My only point is that both races (blacks and whites) have difficulty when it comes to racism. Like I stated before my only reason for starting this topic was to share the news article and get other people OPINIONS on their stand point of THIS NEWS ARTICLE not to argue what each person feels about slavery.

I have nothing at all against black people. I think people are people whether they have black hair, blonde hair, brown hair, green eyes, blue eyes, are tall or short. God made everyone equal just with different apperances. We all have hearts, brains, arms and legs.

I'm just against the sterotypes that go against all different sorts of peoples. Indians have had it hard, Jews had it hard, even North Americans were at war against Southern Americans at one time. There are all different times of prejudices and hatred. It does not stop at blacks agaisnt whites. I am by no means a History expert or know anything more than any of you.. I am just simply stating my OPINION that the way this girl was accused was wrong.

I do find it very poorly on some of you to react the way you do to my OPINION.. such as you Aimee to bring it to my parenting skills which have nothing to do with this topic. But once again I'm reminded of why I left this website.

I believe that everyone should be treated equal (such as this Cheerleader) what happened before, during or after slavery is beyond me. I have MANY times been treated badly by different black people expecially during high school. Numerous times I got made fun of, called names, and even physically pushed around and called the rich white girl for making good grades and being a cheerleader which is experiences racism. Everyone gets it... and its sad for everyone. Black people are not the only people who experience racism.

But ... My only point which I'll say once again is just that in my opinion this girl is threatened of losing everything for dressing up like a rapper... not for dressing like a black person... but for dressing like a famous rapper who happens to be black. Period and in my opinion that is a form of racism against a white.

WHICH I ALREADY STATED IN AN EARLIER POST, I do not know what all was in the articles or what hompages they came from just used them as a reference about White slavery in which I know exsisted. If you do not know that there were white slaves then you should consider an American History Class yourself but as far as what else was the in the articles I have no clue.. I didn't make it past the first paragraph of them. So stop grasping to that as a point of yourself agaisnt me because I already said I do not know what they were about past the title of White Americans as Slaves....

I know of the atrocities of my nation which go way past only against blacks. Whites have inflicted crueltly among fellow whites as well as against blacks. Such as Salem and the old way of punishment such as hanging, stoning, burning, ect. Americas barbarousness history does not stop at African American Slavery. There have been numerous acts of cruelty among numerous groups or types of people. But Slavery seems to be the only one that has stuck into today's topics.

Just the fact that this topic about a white girl dressed as a black rapper has turned into a HUGE debate shows how touchy the subject is. If I had posted this about a black girl dressing like a white eminiem would you feel so strongly about it? I'm going to jump my gun and guess that you wouldn't which in my opinion is not fair.

I do believe you are a person of a one track mind that would never allow another person to speak their own mind against your views leaving it absolutley pointless for me to continue this debate.. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Like I've stated before my only point in this topic is to state that I believe this girl in the news article was a vicitim of racism against whites. I believe everyone should be looked at as equal no matter what color, race, size or OPINION!

I already stated more than once that I do not know what websites the articles I posted where from.. I searched White slaves in american and copied and pasted the first articles that came up. I didn't read past the article titles... That's already been said..

If you claim my Opinion is so ignorant and prejudice... please explain to me the jyst you've taken of my 'opinion' based on what I've posted. I have said NOTHING negative towards black people and if I have please quote me.

Well I remember studying in History during High School about when America was still under British Rule who kept lower class white families as slaves in which were sold and seperated from mother and father and husband and wife and ect... Such as some of ancestors, I've heard story after story by my great grandmother before she passed away about the amount of poverty and how it came to pass that in order to survive and pay off debt, you had to become an indentured slave. I also remember studying in history about how the white people who would defend their black slaves were punished and taken into slavery.

Also I know I remember studying about the thousands of indians that were taken in to slavery and ect ect ect ect... There is tons of american history and evidence that points to the fact that many different types of people were held as slaves... Such as present day slaves... pimps now days who take woman as sex slaves and ect are a form of slavery (once again in my opinion)

i just hate to see some of the people on this website take me a racist becasue of my views on this news article and thought of white slaves.. I have never once in my posts said negative words against the black races as a race...
