Hmm.... It seems that the things I said are the main things that people are upset about. I was not calling Chandra's parenting skills into question. Chandra, if it came across that way, I apologize. From what I've seen on here, you seem like a great mother. I was simply saying that I really hope that you don't say things like that in front of your daughter, and I still feel that way. My grandparents on my mother's side are racist and I'm grateful that I didn't grow up with my mom saying snide remarks about minorities.
The funny thing about everyone getting all pissy about what I said is that I had a topic where I complained about family on my mom's side making racist comments in front of my daughter. Everyone was on my side about not having her around that and speaking up to my family to let them know it's not appreciated. But now I'm out of line for suggesting that Chandra not say prejudiced things in front of her daughter? I feel like if anyone else had said the things she did in this thread and linked us to where Chandra did, a lot of people on here wouldn't be as forgiving. But whatever.
