You'll probably know him as Murray "present" Hewitt, the useless, naive but loveable band manager from Flight of the Conchords. But Rhys Darby also has his own hilarious and energetic stand up show, 'Imagine That', in which he guides the audience through various amusing situations from his own life. Ranging through his time in the New Zealandish army, to his childhood spent beatboxing in the playground, up to bringing the odd girl home from gigs.
His approach is subtle and innocent, but his observation skills and energy, and his ability to laugh with and read his audience are a joy to appreciate.
If you liked Conchords, you'll love it, if you didn't you probably only didn't because you didn't want to be like the kids who did so you'll probably still love Imagine That anyway. Do give it a watch.

I really enjoyed his sound effects. I never thought he'd be this funny! I usually laugh at him because his character is so awkward and strange.
Do you know where i can watch season 2 online? I missed it everything but the first episode because my uni doesnt do HBO.
