It appears the gods have been in a good mood recently and it's just been confirmed that for the first time ever, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax are going to share a stage for the first time in their 25-odd year histories. AWESOME!
Surely that's got to be the thrash fan's all-time best lineup for a gig. Mastodon are also playing as are Black Sabbath/Heaven And Hell (although Dio's cancer might have something to say 'bout that). Excellent stuff.
So now it's just a case of waiting to see when the UK show is ad if that clashes with Roskilde or any other gig I'm planning on this year.
