sry if this has already been mentioned somewhere

but, how the hell do you play baseball?? what are the rules to this game????? i mean, i know when a guy hits a ball, he has to run through bases on the field.. but why do some players stop on base 2 (for example)? and what's up with those passes between players on those bases??

basically, just tell me all the rules

the defensive team tries to get the runners out by tagging them or tagging the bases if the runner must run, called a "force-out." the runner must run if another player is coming to the base they are on because only one player can be on a base at a time. i hope that kinda helps, im not that well-educated in the ways of baseball.

now i know what all the passes are about

what about home-runs? how many points are scored there (sometimes there are 3pts, the other time there are 4pts, etc.)? and what is a home-run EXACTLY?

A home run is when a player hits the ball out of reach behind the fence or in the stands. This will make it so the defensive team cannot get the ball, giving the offensive player all the time in the world to run around all the bases, and just in case you want to know, a grand slam is when the bases are loaded and someone hits a home run.

if there is nobody on base and you hit a home run only one run is scored, 1 on base is 2 runs, 2 on base is 3 runs, and 3 on base (grand slam) is 4 runs. so in other words, however many people make it to home base is how many points are scored.

    didn't know that

i've got just 1 more question
on the scoreboard, there are plenty of squares.. some of them are for each inning.. then there are 3 squares at the end.. the first one is for the current score.. what about the last two ones? what are those?

    hits and errors...

i can't believe I said something about baseball other than its a crappy sport and we should embrace football as our national game. baseball can remain the national pasttime cause if you want Time to Pass that's what'll happen.

WOW, that had me laughing for five minutes...well done, Isaku. It's nice to know somebody else out there doesn't like baseball all that much. Although, it's nice to win 57 bucks betting off the World Series....

As for the football thing, I would like to argue about that, but maybe some other time

And April, maybe this guy isn't from the U.S.

Oh ok, I guess I thought baseball and American football were played in other places as well. Just another ignorant American here I guess.

baseball's played in a lot of countries actually...another reason I'm sick to my stomach everytime I come across the Little league world series on espn2. There's teams of baseball players corrupting the youth of many of the countries of the world into thinking that baseball is a sport!

I want a Pop Warner World Playoffs! Little 8-14year olds from around the world trying to reduce eachother to mush, that'd be an inspiring site!
