my new favorite movie is lord of teh rings return of the king...i just saw it and it is like the best thing ever....and who wrote it really knows how to make the ending suck and rock all at the same time....

Becuase the ending provides closure, and the real books were better and ended better as well. The movies also left stuff out.

wow i didnt read the book i just watched the movies so i didnt know they left stuff out..what kind of things wernt in teh movie?how did the book end?

To include everything from the book would have been near-impossible. Don't forget it's an 'Adaptation' so the books are only a guidline to the film plot.
Oh God, my friend dragged me to this movie, it was so poor. Mediocre at best. it was what, 6 hours? i thought it was going to end so many times, and I laughedt at all the serious parts, that's how poorly done this movie was. the only thing worse are the books. man JRR was such a horrible writer, shit that were some of the most boring novels I attempted reading.

Who said I don't enjoy that specific type of story? I can get into almost anything, and I was actually hyped to read it. It was just awful, absolute tedium with little to no direction, the story was ambiguous, any real development was elusive seeing as it just seemed to pointlessly drag on with out fully scratching out a real story. it tried way too much at once with all the shit it had going on, and it just caved in on itself.
