r u from england?
Hell everyone,
I haven't beeon on S-B for a looong time, so if you don't remeber me I won't feel bad.
As I approach graduation, and move onto new and better things, I am left with a very heavy heart. Quite frankly I don't know what I really want to do. I've looked to conventional wisodm for guidance but frankly, I'm far from conventional or normal. I mean right now I'm a computer nerd during the week, who raves on a saturday, and runs sound at my church on sunday. I've wired up a massive sound system by myself, ran outdoor concerts for a radios tation in Toronto, and on top of all of that I've taken up even more hobbys. I now DJ, dabble in photography and web design, and I've even made a short 3 minute film. I am not trying to show off by any means, just describing my situation, I think the phrase "Jack of all trades, Master of none" comes to mind.
Frankly I've been thinking about this alot lately and I've come to the conclusion that I should choose one of my many hobbys and make a career out of it. But at the same time I don't want to. Why should I give up the things I enjoy so that I can focus my energy on just one.
I plan on going to University next year for computer science, so perhaps I've chosen my role in life. Or have I? Is that what I really want to do? Or would I enjoy life as a photographer instead.
Really this is more of a rant than a question, but I was wondering if those of you who have gone through this stage in their lives could give me some advice, or share some of their own stories.

I will blow some more bubbles. I will blow SO many bubbles that they will all gather, and travel to england. Once secretly gathered in your troposphere, they will form one gigantic bubble. That gigantic bubble will take your TINY island "country" and drop it on China. Now get over it, we kicked ur ass in the revolutionary war, and the French proved that they are our bitches by helping.

Picking a hobby you like best and making a career of it doesn`t mean excluding all else. It means that is the hobby you replace all the schoolwork you no longer are tasked to do with.Originally posted by RockyDj@Feb 22 2005, 12:35 PM

What about you, ya stupid pom? I bet they kicked you off the Island a long time ago, thereby inspiring a host of poor quality television. Now you live in some armpit town in Lithuania where children throw feces at you.Originally posted by german.king@Feb 22 2005, 01:24 PM

Isn`t jealousy something like revenge`s second step-dad or something like that too?
