I studied Economics, Development Studies (specific to issues affecting developing economies) and now doing an MBA. I work as an Economist, so yea...doing what I studied more or less. Although, my real calling was for physics and business. Right now I have started my own small business but don't really see myself going back to do physics any time soon. I think it is wise to at least get a sense of what you want to do later in life before deciding on a course of study. Also, if you are not sure, then study something that makes you more rounded and which can be applied in a variety of careers.
I agree.
I'm studying pharmacy at Uni, mainly so I can go into business later on with my own chemist shop (apparently good money) but I still got a few years left.
