I am a huge baseball fan.

For the last five months, all I've been thinking about -- besides girls, money, food, etc. -- is baseball.

My Cubs, my beloved Cubs finished last year in the cellar. It was embarrassing. $296 million later, we've got a much improved club -- and a full season of Derrek Lee isn't going to hurt either.

Anyway, how do you all predict that the season will go? Here's what I foresee:

AMERICAN LEAGUE
EAST
New York
Boston
Toronto
Tampa Bay
Baltimore

CENTRAL
Cleveland
Minnesota
Detroit
Chicago
Kansas City

WEST
Oakland
Los Angeles
Seattle
Texas

NATIONAL LEAGUE
EAST
Philadelphia
New York
Atlanta
Florida
Washington

CENTRAL
Chicago
Milwaukee
Cincinnati
St. Louis
Houston
Pittsburgh

WEST
Los Angeles
Arizona
San Diego
San Francisco

Cubs? please, the biggest underachievers of the century.

Anyway its all about Dodgers this up coming season. With the talent they got I expect them to blow away the rest of the league and easily cruise through world series.

Cubs' starting rotation:

Zambrano
Lilly
Marquis
Hill
Miller

That's solid. It's not the best one around, but Z's a Cy Young candidate, everyone's projecting that Hill's in for a good year, Miller's been pitching well, Lilly will turn in a 4.00 ERA, and Marquis could very well revert to form.

Wood will be in the bullpen when he comes off of the DL, anyway, and Prior looked great in his last outing -- so they're just bonuses.

As for the lineup, there aren't many stronger ones in the league, much less in the division, than one that has Soriano, Lee, and Ramirez in it.

I say that they have a better chance at winning the division than anyone else.

I'm not making any predictions. Well atleast for the AL Central. I'm tired of jinxing my team.

Believe me, if I were trying to jinx anyone, I would have put the White Sox right up there at the top.

I don't believe in jinxes. I find that superstition has a way of taking over my life by the end of September, and the Cubs still lose anyway.

Well, considering my cousin is the head coach, I'll go with the Baltimore Orioles for the penant.

My prediction: The Cleveland Indians will be able to play a home game by the month of July, when the snow stops falling.
