In the history of pro sports in this country, has a playoff series (or game, in the case of NFL) ever been won by a team with a losing record?

I dont know, but I do know that of the 83 times a team has gone down 0-3 in NBA Playoff Series, they've lost all 83 times. (0-83)
84 if you count the Nuggets.

...go Suns!

The Suns gagged on a giant cock tonight. Go Hornets.

7 turnovers in the 4th quarter... I'd call that a choke. Sad day for the Suns, but it was a good game. Bring on the Hornets!

Son of a fucking bitch.
I dont think the Suns didnt choke in any close game this entire season.
I'm not exaggerating, I think it's actually true.

To top it off, some fake-blonde ditz is here at the office giggling and clapping at the Suns elimination since she hates all AZ teams because it's hot here or some stupid BS.
She doesnt know shit about sports, but is all high and mighty now.
I should just take my frustration out on her.
Someone remind me why are we not supposed to hit girls again...

As far as the rest of the Western Conf:
Spurs and Lakers in Conf Finals.
Lakers in 6.

Yeah, that would pretty much piss me off more than anything else so that's what I'll bet on happening.

At this point I hate the Spurs so much that I'd be happy if anyone else won it. Watching Ginobili flop around and NOT get calls last night was one of the most satisfying things about the postseason so far. When he doesn't get calls, he's useless.

Hmm, the only times I've rooted for the Spurs were during the mid '90s when David Robinson was my favorite player, and during the Spurs/Lakers battles when I just wanted the Lakers to lose. Since they beat the Knicks in '98, it's been hard for me to root for them under most circumstances. And since they added the Argentinian Flopping Twins, I really can't stand them.

I rooted for Detroit to beat LA in '04 because I hated those early 2000s Lakers teams, and for the Mavs to beat the Heat, because I loathe the Heat and Pat Riley under any and all circumstances.

The only team I consistently root for is the Knicks, other than that there are just a bunch of players that I root for (mainly UConn grads, AI, 'Sheed, and Durant).

Yeah, I've only ever been a Suns fan since I was old enough to follow watching basketball.
Not a real fan of players really.
I've only been a fan of AC Green, and Nash.

If I'm gonna be a "fan" of one person, it's gotta be for more that just their skills in a sport.

Yes, far better to be a "fan" of a corporate entity.

HAHAHA!!
Hawks force Game 7!

I knew Boston wouldnt win the Finals, but I didnt think there'd be a chance of them losing in the First Round.

I'm real conflicted. On one hand, after the ALCS, I'd like to see the Cavs take out the Celtics, but on the other hand, I think the Hawks would be the easier team to beat.

I'm sad to see the Spurs lose game 1, but I think the only team that is going to beat them would be NO, just because they're a lot younger and it seems a lot quicker. I hope tonight's game will prove better for the Spurs, but I have no idea what kind of adjustment can be made to match up better with NO's athleticism. I think if Timmy and Tony can make it past NO, LA will go down as well (unless there are injuries on the old foagie team). I guess we'll have to see. I'm glad to see Boston is still in it. As of right now, I'm thinkin it's gonna be SA v. Boston in the finals, but.. that's just my eternal optimist speaking.
