The A-Rod issue should do wonders for CC as far as adapting to New York media. I miss him being on my team but I wish him good luck in New York.

CC is going become a mega star now. Not that he isnt a superstar already, he is, but now he will become a mega star. Left handed pitchers always do well in Yankee stadium, its built for left handed hitters and pitchers. I agree, the pressure is off him with the latest A-Rod saga.

Boston has a very good rotation. If the Red Sox rotation (Beckett, Dice-K, John Smoltz, Brad Penny and Wakefield) is healthy they'll be dominate. Its gonna be interesting because the Sox, Yanks and Rays all have the talent to each win 90 games.

i dont expect the rays to do as well this year. ANd the sox roataion is questionable with a 42 year smoltz returning from an ijury and now pitching in the AL Beast. Same goes for Penny. But the Boston top 3 is as solid as snyones. Should be another great year of baseball for the AL Beast. I cant wait.

Are there any players left? I thought the NYY had bought out the entire league. :P

only in Japan, but you have to pay 50 million just to talk to pitchers who walk the bases loaded every inning

Y'all gotta figure out what's wrong with Wang. I love the Indians, but man, that almost got painful to watch today.

His sinker didn't sink! He flippin' lobbed 'em over the plate, I could've hit those pitches.

yeah, I love CM Wang, and I really hope that he isnt just like every other Asian pitcher to play in the majors...a couple of good years followed by a career of complete suck.

Im still confident that he will work things out, but I always worry when it comes to Asian pitchers. I will cut Wang some slack becuase he hasnt pitched since last June and its possible he needed/needs more time to shake the rust off. Hopefully he will be fine. As long as he isnt injured Im giving him the benefit of the doubt. If he is still getting shelled come June, Id be a lot more worried.

Why do you think they have issues after a couple of years? I wonder if its the fact that the MLB season is longer than Japan's. I know that Masa Kobayashi flamed out last year because he went well beyond the number of innings he'd ever pitched.

Cant trade away all your farm system talent for veterans on the decline, pay them a fuckload, and be good forever.
